Jujubefrukt, also known as red date or Chinese date, comes from China. In fact, jujube trees have been grown there for more than 4 000 år. In the past, it was classified as one of “The Five Fruits” along with peach, plum, ume (plum species) and apricot. Thanks to the jujube's richness of vitamin C, it is often called "king of vitamin C".
Jujube is also rich in protein, fat, carbohydrates, carotene, B vitamins, vitamin P, calcium, Phosphor, iron and other nutrients. And now let's look at what jujube fruit is good for.
Jujube is one of the most important therapeutic herbs in TCM.
1. It is rich in cyclic adenosine monophosphate, one of the important substances in the body's energy metabolism. It improves muscle strength, eliminates fatigue, enlarges the blood vessels, increases myocardial contraction, improves cardiac nutrition and prevents and treats cardiovascular disease.
2. The stronger qi, when the blood and soothes the nerves and strengthens the spleen and stomach. In other words, it is an excellent cure for deficiency in the spleen and stomach, lack of Qi and blood, weakness or inertia, insomnia and more.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) consider that jujube is sweet and warm in properties. It covers two meridians, spleen and stomach.
